TMZ has confirmed that Sonya Deville was arrested last month in New Jersey for possessing a firearm in his vehicle. A weapon for which she did not have the necessary license for the state of New Jersey despite being registered in Florida.
The incident took place in Atlantic City on February 19, 2023 when the valet found the gun in the glove compartment of his car and called the police. The police came to arrest Sonya Deville and she was charged with illegal possession of a weapon. She will have to appear before the judge later in the month to talk about the case.
TMZ sources mention that Sonya Deville has always been carrying a gun for her personal protection since a man tried to kidnap her from her home in 2020. An arrest that would have no consequences for her role in WWE since WWE already knew they had this weapon for this reason.
