A Sony appears to have returned to selling codes for its games through physical cards in stores in Brazil. As reported by the portal Meu PlayStation, you can visit partner retailers and find titles available for purchase. The curious detail in this story is that they are games for platform PS VR2as:

  • Resident Evil Village
  • Star Wars
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Cities VR

In general, all these games are being sold through this modality in stores like Magazine Luiza. It is worth noting that this type of product purchase was common for productions released for PS4, but Sony ended up stopping selling this way in 2019, despite maintaining balance sales for the account in the PS Plus store.

In fact, these balance cards are still available for purchase. At the time, the decision made by Sony ended up affecting the United States market more, while this return appears to only be available in Brazil, at least for now. After all, there was no official statement regarding this return, which leaves everything in the field of mystery.

That said, it is not yet known whether this measure will be expanded to other countries, nor will it be expanded to other platforms, with the return of sales of games in this format for PS4 and even sales for the PS5. Therefore, we can only wait for new information about this situation to be released.

In the meantime, check out the games that will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe subscription models throughout March.
