A Sony launched this Tuesday (29) two new Mirrorless cameras for different price segments. It’s regarding the models A7C II e A7C Rwhich were already speculated to be presented at the end of this month and now, arrive with identical visuals and important differences in some attributes.
To begin with, the first model mentioned comes with a 33MP CMOS sensor and, like its more expensive sister, it is a small machine, which takes characteristics from the A7 IV as the sensor itself. In that way, it’s like the model is a smaller version of the A7 IV with improved autofocus.
Another important point is that the battery equipped with the product has not undergone a reduction, so it must have greater autonomy and for filming, it has support for 4K at 50 FPS. Likewise, we can say that of the A7C R, which in turn operates as if it were a downsized variant of the A7R V.
According to tests carried out by The Verge, both cameras have a better and firmer grip, although the A6700 is superior in this regard. The A7C R, in turn, has a 61MP sensor and a processing unit that uses artificial intelligence to operate. On the shooting side, it also supports 4k at 50 FPS.
Both cameras will soon be available for purchase on Sony’s official website. As for prices, the A7C II model can be purchased for US$ 2.199,99 (R$ 10,684 in direct conversion), while the A7C R arrives for US$ 2.999,99 (BRL 10,570). Finally, also see the details of the launch of the compact machine ZV-1 II that arrived with a focus on vlogs.
