In 2021, Sony launched its own publishing label on PC, which has been releasing past PlayStation-exclusive games on the platform such as Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War. The idea turned out to be very profitable, so now Sony is looking for Senior Director for Planning and Strategy for PCwhich will operate as part of PlayStation Global.
According to the vacancy, the new director will be responsible for strategy and commercial activity at the global level, and will also develop a unified plan for the development of PC sales for implementation in local territories.
God of War was previously announced as the best-selling PlayStation game on PC, but Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone also performed well. At the same time, Sony still has a lot of titles in the bins that will positively affect the company’s income.
It’s not clear if Sony will release its games on PS5 and PC at the same time, but it’s a natural move.
