Sony continues to expand the PlayStation brand onto other platforms like pc and mobile. Indeed, they announce today the acquisition of the Savage Game Studios studio which joins the new division of PlayStation Studios dedicated to the development of mobile games.

On the official PlayStation blogHermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, welcomes Savage Game Studios to the PlayStation family: “We share their quest for continuous innovation, as well as the desire to expand our audience and welcome more and more people to the PlayStation universe. This team has thus established itself as an ideal choice to expand the PlayStation Studios family. »

He also gives the floor to Michail Katkoff, CEO and co-founder of Savage Game Studios:

“Then why join PlayStation Studios?” you might ask. If we have entered into this agreement, it is because we believe that the management of PlayStation Studios, in addition to respecting our mode of operation and our vision of success, shares our taste for innovation. Add to that the ability to tap into the incredible catalog of PlayStation franchises, as well as the breadth of support that only PlayStation Studios can offer, and the question isn’t so much “Why join them?” that “Why not join them?”
