Sons cut off from the world, partners… what do we really know about the private life of the master of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin?

While the Kremlin’s master continues his “special military operation” in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin has always remained very discreet about his private life.

The great Putin family. The Russian president, whose real name is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, is in the international spotlight for his invasion of Ukraine launched in February 2022. While much is said about the master of the Kremlin, little information is known about his personal life.

“Finally! A boy!”

According to a report by a Russian investigative group, Putin has fathered two other sons with former Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva. These two young children are said to be living completely cut off from the world, while the Russian president officially recognizes only two daughters, Maria, 39, and Katerina, 38, from a union with Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, reports Forbes.

Vladimir Putin is said to have started a relationship with the gymnast in 2008 while he was still with Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, from whom he separated in 2013. However, the Kremlin has consistently denied any relationship with the former athlete for almost a decade.

The two sons are named Ivan and Vladimir Jr., they were born in 2015 in Switzerland and in 2019 in Moscow respectively. Putin would have been delighted to have his first boy. On several occasions, Ivan Putin told his guardians and security officers… that when he was born, Vladimir Putin was so happy that he shouted: ‘Hooray! Finally! A boy!'”indicates a source of the investigation, quoted by DH net.

Both live in the Russian president’s mansion in northwest Moscow but live completely cut off from the world. They are always surrounded by adults and have almost no contact with their peers. Their parents only see them late at night.”we can read in the report.

As for their mother, Alina Kabaeva, we know a little more. She is a former professional gymnast. She won a bronze medal in rhythmic gymnastics at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and won gold at the Athens Olympics 4 years later.

While its proximity to the master of the Kremlin remains more or less enigmatic, the United Kingdom decided in 2022 to sanction several members of the Putin family as well as Alina Kabaeva who, according to the government, “would maintain a close personal relationship with Putin”.
