The Philippe and Maria Halphen 2023 prize awarded by the Academy of Sciences was awarded to Sonia DOLLFUS, university professor-Hospital Practitioner at the University and University Hospital of Caen, Sonia Dollfus is responsible for the research axis on schizophrenia within the NeuroPRESAGE team of Inserm unit 1237. A prize which aims to “support the development of research projects concerning psychiatric illnesses and the identification of new therapeutic avenues in psychoses”.
Sonia Dollfus’ internationally recognized work focuses on the investigation of language networks and the demonstration of the beneficial effects of adjuvant therapies such as physical activity and cerebral neurostimulation in patients suffering from schizophrenia.
