The national oil company Sonangol opened a public tender, with a view to granting the concession to operate the PAENAL facilities, located in the municipality of Porto Amboim, Cuanza Sul province.
In a press release, to which ANGOP had access, the oil company indicates that the company PAENAL is a shipyard for manufacturing and integrating facilities, destined for the oil and gas industry.
The note also states that, as shareholder, Sonangol envisages the restructuring of the aforementioned company, with the aim of expanding its scope of activity, encompassing repair and maintenance, as well as the manufacture of vessels and other related activities.
According to the note, the presentation of proposals will take place until the 30th of March 2024, so entities interested in accessing the parts of the procedure must do so, from the 19th of December 2023, via the Jornal from Angola.
