Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with her Muslim friend actor Zaheer Iqbal yesterday.
Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Poonam Sinha attended the wedding ceremony held at the actor duo’s house, but the brothers did not attend.

According to Indian media, Sonakshi chose her mother’s off-white wedding saree and diamond jewelery along with a beaded kundan necklace for the wedding ceremony.
Thus, the actress set a good example by choosing her mother’s 44-year-old wedding dress and jewelry for her wedding, unlike the expensive wedding dresses of other Balinese actresses.
On the other hand, Sonakshi’s bride-to-be Zaheer Iqbal was also seen wearing a white shalwar kameez unlike an expensive sherwani or groom suit.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple hosted a dinner at a local restaurant in Mumbai which was attended by personalities from the film world and other fields.
On this occasion as well, Sonakshi and her husband were seen in a simple traditional look instead of the most expensive outfits.
According to Indian media, Sonakshi Sinha chose a brocade tone red saree from the Indian saree brand ‘Chand Bota’ for her wedding dinner.
According to Indian media, the price of the saree on the brand’s website is INR 79,800.
