Noi Bai Meal Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Aviation Meal Services Joint Stock Company bought more than one ton of plums to use as dessert for air passengers.
The vice-president of the Provincial People’s Committee of Son La, Nguyên Thành Công, considered that the process of production, collection and preservation of the main agricultural products of Son La in general, and plum in particular, guaranteed the requirements in quality, food safety and other matters for the domestic market and for export.
The presence of the Son La plum on Vietnam Airlines flights helps to affirm the quality and brand of the province’s agricultural products.
Currently, Son La has nearly 85,000 ha of fruit with an annual production of more than 452,000 tons, including more than 12,300 ha of plum trees which produce nearly 90,000 tons per year.
