The Swiss Institute of International Sports (CIES) announced the top 100 ‘World Soccer Player Ransom’ on its official website on the 6th. Heung-Min Son is ranked 88th with an estimated ransom of 52.9 million euros (regarding 70.9 billion won), and is the only Asian player to be included in the top 100.

CIES estimates the ransom by considering various factors such as players’ performance, age, contract period, and team status.

Heung-Min Son scored 23 goals in the 2021-22 Premier League, tied for the top scorer, and is continuing to rise in the world’s top 100 football players’ ransom rankings.

Mohamed Salah (30), who shared the top scorer with Son Heung-min, was ranked 81st with an estimated ransom of 55 million euros (regarding 73.8 billion won).

Meanwhile, the first place was held by Kylian Mbappe (24) of Paris Saint-Germain, who recorded a ransom of 255.6 million euros (regarding 275.8 billion won).

It was followed by Vinicius Junior (22) with €185.3 million (regarding 248.6 billion) and Elling Haaland (22) with €152.6 million (regarding 24,7 billion) in second and third place, respectively. recorded

Heung-min Son’s colleague Harry Kane (29) was ranked 31st with 78.1 million euros (regarding 14.7 billion won).
