“Thank you so much for making London your second home.”

Tottenham Hotspur’s ‘Sony’ Heung-min Son is proving why he is a star player by setting many records this year.

Currently, Son Heung-min has played in 400 games for Tottenham alone. His Tottenham career, which started in the 2015-16 season, continued through the 2023-24 season and eventually became the 14th player to play 400 games.

Among active players, there are only two players who have played more games in a Tottenham uniform than Son Heung-min. Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane are currently not at Tottenham.

Right above Son Heung-min is Maurice Norman, who played 411 games. With eight games remaining this season, Son Heung-min must first look to the next. Instead, if there are no major problems, he can surpass Norman as well as John Pratt (415 games), Phil Beale (420 games), Kane (435 games), and Jimmy Dimock (438 games) in the 2024-25 season.

Son Heung-min said on his SNS on the 3rd (Korean time), “Making 400 appearances for our club is a special milestone and I am very proud of myself and my family. Last night ( once morest West Ham) wasn’t the result we wanted, but looking back on the past hour with you, I feel joy and pride. “Thank you so much for making London your second home.”

In this post, numerous fans cheering for Son Heung-min and Tottenham as well as colleagues left comments and congratulated him. And there were some welcome comments. Kane, who played as the best one-two punch in the English Premier League until the 2022-23 season, congratulated Son Heung-min.

Kane happily welcomed Son Heung-min’s 400th game appearance for Tottenham, saying, “Congrats brother.”

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min set a record representing the club in addition to appearing in 400 games for Tottenham. He scored the winning goal once morest Luton Town last time, bringing his total to 160 goals.

Kane has scored the most goals in Tottenham history. He scored 280 goals. Afterwards, Jimmy Greaves, Bobby Smith, and Martin Chivers were named, and Son Heung-min took 5th place alone.

Son Heung-min recorded 15 goals and 8 assists this season, ranking first in scoring and assists on the team. Tottenham are having an eventful season, but are fiercely competing with Aston Villa for fourth place.

This would not have been possible without Son Heung-min. He is doing his part on the left wing and up front. Recently, Peter Schmeichel, one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, praised Son Heung-min, saying, “Son Heung-min is a fantastic player.”
