The “Sommerklang Langenzersdorf 2023” in the Graetzeloase was very successful last week. The street festival on the closed B3 might also take place as planned despite the less than ideal weather. The organizer Cornelia Meixner was satisfied: “Despite the cool temperatures and the competition from the Danube Island Festival, we were very well attended.”
Organizer and moderator Cornelia Meixner “rocked” the event eloquently and humorously. Now she is hoping for a DaCapo 2024.

The children’s swing boat, the lovingly and perfectly designed station by Brigitte Zinner and her “development room” and the children’s face painting of the “Magic Land” turned out to be an absolute magnet for the little ones.
As usual, Cornelia Meixner moderated the actual “summer sound” in an eloquent and humorous manner. There was something for everyone. The “operetta highlights” from the Penzinger Konzertschrammeln were a treat. The two singers Helga Graczoll and Peter Widholz were also great. At the final “Radetzky March” there was no holding back, everyone clapped along.
Didi Pranter, here with Cornelia Meixner, provided the highlight of the evening with mega hits and pop anthems.

In the second part, Didi Pranter pulled out all the stops with his “Pop Classics”. Bravo calls might already be heard at the second number. But the program also had it all: Mega hits and pop anthems such as those by Billy Joel, Elton John, Michael Bublé or Elvis Presley spiced up with dance interludes by the two charismatic dancers Sebastian Hofbauer and Annika Schmidhuber let the audience romp.
A very special highlight was the audience dance at “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie, in which everyone danced enthusiastically. Meixner, who was asked following the show, “Is it always like this with you? That was amazing,” he was happy regarding the great success, but said: “Whether the summer sound will continue depends purely on the benevolence and will of the community.”
A big thank you goes to the building yard team of the market town, who had their hands full to set up the stage in time for the concerts. “In any case, the time window was very short and they still did it brilliantly,” Cornelia Meixner told Rosen.
