In the 1994 cinematic masterpiece Forrest Gumpthe main character played by Tom Hanks says, at one point, “Shit Happens.”
This expression is quite pitifully translated in the French version as: “La merde, ça peut arrive.”

Well, for Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, shit happened recently during a theater outing.
Comfortably seated in their seats at the Shubert Theater to watch a performance of the musical Some Like It Hot, the two women made a gruesome discovery during intermission.
A source told Page Six how the incident unfolded: “Last week, when Hillary and Chelsea Clinton were in attendance, the lights came on for intermission and there were two human droppings in the aisle right next to the famous political duo.
“The maintenance crew handled it very appropriately and quickly, and Hillary and Chelsea remained in theater for the second act,” the unnamed source added.

What’s worse, for the theater staff, is that this unknown informant is convinced that the culprit is a serial defecator, since this would be the fourth time this has happened.
Another source, however, offered Page Six a version contradicting this claim.
“There was an incident when Hillary Clinton and Chelsea attended the show. He was a senior citizen and it’s kind of sad, but yes the staff worked quickly to help resolve the situation and Act II started as planned,” the other insider said.

The first source maintains its version of the facts.
“I spoke to the house manager, who said this was actually the fourth time this had happened.”
For this informant, however, there remains an outstanding question that deserves to be clarified.
“There’s a person either shitting in the aisle or surreptitiously dumping defecation they smuggled into the theater.”
For now, the mystery remains.
