The new Game mode “Forge” for Halo Infinite should be quite powerful, as a first video shows. Interestingly, the mode is not yet available to the public, not even as a beta.
Every horror game fan knows the Silent Hill PT, originally a “playable teaser” for the Reboot of the Silent Hill game series thought. The game is built entirely in an L-shaped corridor that challenges players to walk in a circuit while solving puzzles. The game was made by Hideo Kojima – then still at Konami – disappeared into the PS4 store following the whole disaster and development of the main game was shut down.
Since then there have been repeated efforts by Silent Hill fans to “recreate” the game.
Silent Hill in Halo Infinite Forge
It’s either a well-made fake or the YouTuber “Death Templer” already has the unreleased one Halo Infinite Forge-Modus to run. In any case, the video shows the Silent Hill PT map with all its details and the surrounding atmosphere has also been lovingly recreated.
The “Forger” wants to develop the game and will continue to do so until “there is a cease and desist letter from Konami”. You can find the video at YouTube.
Supposedly he created the game without “saving” it, because that shouldn’t really work in the current version of Forge. Of the mode is still in closed test modealthough apparently some players regarding the Koop-PC-Beta-Build can access it.
Halo Infinite Forge mode will be released as a beta sometime in September, an exact date has not yet been set.
Halo Infinite is now available for Windows PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. There’s also the first-person shooter from 343 Industries in Xbox Game Pass.
