The opening keynote of WWDC23which will take place on June 5th, will be attended by some prominent figures from the specialized media in extended reality (extended realityor XR) — an umbrella term that encompasses virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality technologies.
If anything, this further hints that we’ll see Apple’s long-awaited headset unveiled at the event, as already widely expected.
Among the guests is Ian Hamiltoneditor-in-chief of UploadVR, website specializing in AR/VR products and technologies. In a publication announcing the invitationincluding, the site said to draw from this “whatever conclusions we can”.
Another means of communication in the segment, the Road to VR, also released who was invited and who will participate in the WWDC23 keynote. They also pointed out that “it’s hard not to interpret the invites amid the growing number of reports that Apple plans to unveil its first XR device at the keynote.”
Another figure from the area who also received an invitation from Maçã was Norman Chando canal Testedknown for testing AR/VR devices.
At this point, all that remains is the announcement of the headset, as all the cards are already on the table, apparently.
