Doha: The parking crisis in Qatar is being solved. The Ministry of Transport has presented a master plan for setting up parking facilities in major centres. The project is part of the Transport Master Plan 2050
Last month, the Ministry of Transport released a master plan to develop Qatar’s road transport network. As part of this, plans have been prepared to solve the parking problem. Better parking systems will be installed in areas where parking is currently difficult or where parking is unsafe. It will also open up new business opportunities. It will also encourage people’s change. Revenue from parking will also be used to provide more infrastructure. The master plan includes parking plans, policies and regulations
