Throughout the school holidays, and for the holidays, the Grande site of Solutré-Pouilly Vergisson has put together a program: Christmas in the stars.
A dozen events have been announced until January 7.
Starting on December 26, the day after Christmas, with the little elves’ walk. During a walk, children aged 3 to 6 will go in search of stars and the messages they carry. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes, with a snack to share at the end. 15 hours ; price: 5 euros. By reservation.
A planetarium Wednesday and Thursday
On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28, a planetarium will take place at the main site house, with sessions at 11, 1, 2, 15 and 4 p.m. Guaranteed immersion with crossing the solar system, orbiting the gas giants… From 8 years old. Price: child 5 euros, adult 7 euros.
Wednesday January 27 and Tuesday January 2, at 3 and 3:45 p.m., time for storytelling Tarandoro’s long journey (with a snack to share). From 3 to 6 years. By reservation. 5 euros/child and 7 euros per adult, museum entry included.
3D creation, illuminations and origami
This Thursday 28, at the museum, a 3D creation workshop will be offered, continuously from 2 to 4 p.m. to allow children, from 6 years old, to create a fun card on the theme of prehistory: mammoth or other lion of the 3D caves. Without reservation: museum entrance fee. The next day, December 29, an illumination workshop will be given at the site house. At 2 p.m., ages 10 and up. Price: child 5 euros/adult 7 euros.
The following week will be launched on January 2, at the main site with an Origami “stars and astronomy” workshop, to practice this Japanese art and distribute with its star. Two sessions are planned: at 11:15 a.m. for children aged 5 and over and at 2:30 p.m. for older children, from 8 years old. By reservation: 5 euros per child and 7 per adult.
A puppet show to launch 2024
On January 3 and 4, at 11 and 3:30 p.m., the show will be performed The Butterfly’s Caress by the Théâtre de Céphise. It is a puppet show that evokes how our loved ones remain alive and well, even after they have passed away. From 4 years old. By reservation. 5 euros per person.
Thematic visits are announced on the same days. The 3rd on the theme of jewelry from the depths of time and the 4th, the museum will be visited in the Ice Age and will allow you to go back in time to the Ice Age. At 14 hours. On Friday January 5, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., a workshop will have the theme “Head in the stars”. To learn how to navigate the starry sky thanks to stories, constellations… From 7 years old. Child 5 euros/adult 7 euros. By reservation.
Finally, on Sunday January 7, the museum will open its doors free of charge from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
