Sollers received 3.4 billion rubles from the state for stamping Chinese cars

Russian automaker Sollers received a preferential loan in the amount of 3.4 billion rubles from the state Industrial Development Fund (IDF) for the localization of stamped parts for cars. Interfax reports this with reference to the Sollers press service.

“The enterprise will localize technological operations for stamping regarding 120 parts of the body and cabin of Sollers commercial vehicles, as well as for controlling the geometry of manufactured components,” the company said in a statement.

The production of stamped parts is planned to be launched at the Sollers Alabuga plant in Tatarstan in the second quarter of 2025. The production volume of kits for Sollers Atlant and Argo commercial vehicles will be up to 40 thousand per year.

Under their own names Sollers Atlant and Sollers Argo, JAC Sunray and JAC N25/N35 are produced in Russia. Sales of Atlant and Argo began in December 2022.
