According to data from the latest annual report prepared by it, In 2022 alone, non-profit organizations received donations from 325 people who, during their lifetime, decided to leave a lasting mark on the world through their wills, worth 40,985,380 million euros, 21% more than in 2021 ( 33.8 million euros).
Being supportive goes beyond the financial donations to which we are accustomed. It involves empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of others. Numerous studies have shown that practicing solidarity not only benefits those who receive help, but also has positive effects on our own happiness and well-being. Helping others activates areas of the brain associated with pleasure and satisfaction, which makes us feel more connected and fulfilled, bringing us closer to a certain meaning in life.
