How will the Solidarity Income payments be made?

Starting this Thursday, May 19, the Department of Social Prosperity will begin making the May-junior payment. According to the DPS, payments will be made in stages, starting with banked households. However, those who do not have a savings account can consult the points enabled to withdraw the money order.

“We make a special appeal to unbanked households to approach the points arranged by SuperGIROS and its allied network to collect the money assigned to your home. There are many households that are not charging and the resources are available to them”, added the director of the GPS.

Bank account: Beneficiaries who have a savings account with a financial institution will have the payments deposited in it. In addition, it will notify them of the subscription via text message.

Giro postal: Those who do not have an active financial product will receive the transfer through the payment operators established for this purpose. The collection process is free and any additional charge must be reported to Prosperidad Social.

Starting in July, the Department of Social Prosperity will make transfer payments differently. The new payment amount, which will not be reduced, will depend on the Sisbén IV classification as well as the number of members per household. The new values ​​will range from $400,000 to 435,000.
