One of the programs offered by the Department of Social Prosperity (DPS) from Colombia is he Solidarity Incomewhich seeks to benefit the most vulnerable families in the country with a bimonthly subsidy.
Recently, through a statement, the DPS announced the increase in the amount of money that is delivered to households, now being the amount of 380.000 pesos.

In addition, the Government of Colombia announced that Starting in July, payments will be differentiated. In other words, the money that families will receive will depend on their category in the Sisbén and the number of people who make up the household.
According to Social Prosperity, Payments will be made as follows:
- Family in category group A with 1 inhabitant will receive $400,000
- Group B family with 1 inhabitant will receive $380,000
- Group A family with 2 inhabitants will receive $440,000
- Family group with 2 inhabitants will receive $396,000
- Group A family with 3 inhabitants $480,000
- Group B family with 3 inhabitants $412,000
- Families with 4 or more inhabitants that belong to group A will receive $520,000 and those in group B $428,000.
For their part, the beneficiaries who are in the Sisbén group C categoryregardless of the number of household inhabitants, they will continue to receive $380,000 every two months.
However, the most vulnerable households in the country and those who have never received a government subsidy will have priority.
When will the May-June turns take place?
Regarding the payment schedule, Social Prosperity announced that the transfers of the May-June cycle will begin in the third week of May. Being more specific, it is estimated that they will be delivered from May 16 to 22.
