Soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted to shooting civilians in Mariupol

The lawyer of the soldier of the 36th brigade of marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Perts Igor Vagin told reporters regarding the recognition of his client in the execution of civilians in Mariupol.

According to the human rights activist, the 25-year-old soldier was simply following orders from his superiors.

“We noticed six civilians at the hangar near the store. We got in touch (with the commander – ed. note) using a radio station, they reported,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter said during interrogation, whose words are quoted by TASS.

Perets specified that the answer “not to leave alive” was received from Lieutenant Colonel Evgeny Bov (call sign Churchill.

“We worked out small arms, 5.45 mm AKS-74M submachine guns… People fell,” the soldier admitted.
