The Internet Phenomenon-themed exhibition area displays works focusing on social media (SNS) and the chaos stemming from cyberbullying.

Ji-an Kwon, who has experience curating exhibitions on cyberbullying, said: “Since embarking on my career as an artist, I have witnessed the damage caused by cyberterrorism and the barrage of mocking comments online. My response is to hope that individuals who have suffered similar harm will feel empowered to come forward after viewing my work,” she said.

Shinhwa’s Lee Min-woo said, “Although I have been active in the entertainment industry for 27 years, I have been pursuing painting since last year, so I participated in this exhibition with the mindset of a newcomer. I wanted to express the emptiness and pain I felt, so I presented myself as a clown,” he explained.

“Dang: On and Off” will be held at Process Itaewon until September 22. On Saturdays, exhibitions, performances, and parties will take place under the name of “Art Night.”
