More solar storms predicted
The US Space Weather Agency NOAA predicts more solar storms for Sunday evening and Monday. Then the particles of a coronal mass ejected from the sun should reach the earth’s magnetic field.
The calculated disturbances should only be small and occur in the radio traffic. But it will be spectacular around the Arctic Circle polar aurora make visible.
Due to the current high level of solar activity, aurora borealis have been observed several times in recent days. Impressive photos of an aurora were also taken from the ISS.
