The solar energy sector in Brazil has stood out as one of the main alternatives for the energy transition and the reduction of carbon emissions. Canal Solar points out that, only in 2023, Brazil added 7.8 GW of installed capacity to the electrical matrixwith emphasis on solar energy. Due to the high temperatures and the growing heat wave that Brazil has been facing, consumers are increasingly motivated to seek alternatives to reduce electricity costs, further increasing adoption of distributed generation.
