Andrey Sokolov
Famous for his caution, meticulousness and total control over everything that concerns his personality, 60-year-old Andrei Sokolov let it slip. In an interview with David Winner, to the question “Was there a desire to go to the faces of some TV people? Break through their backs?” People’s Artist replied: “Why didn’t this happen? It just doesn’t need to be advertised.” And he made it clear that not only desire, but also action took place. The journalist Winner was frightened in a picturesque way: “You have to sit down, otherwise you will break me.”
Sokolov is not the first to fight reporters in every way. In the Lenkom Theater, this has even become an unkind tradition among the actors. Alexander Abudulov was the first to get into such a scandal. The editor-in-chief of the weekly “Sobesednik” Yuri Pilipenko, following they published a note regarding the filming of Alexander Serov’s video for the song “You Love Me” with the participation of Irina Alferova and a hint that the singer was carried away by her, recalled:
– Then each such publication caused a crazy stir. And suddenly the guards call me and say: “Abdulov is with you with three pumped-up thugs.” I realized that I mightn’t cope with four alone, and in a harsh, uncharacteristic voice for myself, I said: “Sasha, I ask these young people to leave my office.” They obeyed, went out and sat down in the waiting room. And Alexander Gavriilovich was very much worried, his jaws were moving, he was rubbing his fists. I understood that now things should come to a fight, and I tried to be very, very calm. Because that was the only normal answer. Abdulov said that he would find methods to punish the author of the note, threw out adrenaline and left the editorial office.
And soon divorced Alferova.
A few years later, Dmitry Pevtsov attacked the Komsomolskaya Pravda photographer, whom he saw not far from the maternity hospital, where his wife Olga Drozdova had just given birth to a son. In the heat of the fight, the actor grabbed Ramil Gali by the breasts and jerked so hard that half of the photographer’s T-shirt remained in his hands. Yes, and threw his equipment to the ground.
