Tareq Taylor and Sofia Ståhl are in the middle of renovating their house in Saltsjö-Boo in eastern Stockholm.
The couple bought the house of only 39 square meters earlier this year, but the plan has always been to build a new, larger house on the plot with a sea view.
And luckily it is, because now the family is growing.
Taylor and Ståhl are expecting their first child together, reveals the training profile on their blog.
“I am pregnant?! We’re having a baby?! Even though we’ve known it for quite a while, it’s like I don’t really know if I really understood it,” she writes.
The decision to have children together does not seem to have been obvious to the couple.
“I who thought I was done and had pretty much closed that door, but it turned out that our love was what was needed for the door to be wide open,” she continues.

Tareq is the father of daughter Ellen from a previous relationship, and Sofia is mother of daughter Edith.
Ståhl says that she has been showered with love since the couple shared the happiness of pregnancy.
“A thousand warm thanks in abundance! I am completely overwhelmed by all the good things that have come since we told you about the baby,” she writes on the blog.
She also announces that she feels better than during her first pregnancy, which was tougher.
“Now I feel good, I’m tired and getting really tired from the house building, but otherwise I have no ailments, which is like night and day compared to last time,” she writes.
