In a confidential document, of which “Les Echos” was able to consult extracts, the management of the bank indicates that 157 branches will be closed in 2023, out of a total of approximately 650, provided for in the proposed merger announced eighteen months ago . As “Ouest-France” also writes on its website, the bulk of the closures will take place in 2024 with around 300 sites concerned, then the rest in 2025.
