Social networks: Soldiers banned from taking photos in uniform

To preserve the honor of their institution, Guinea published a decree dated November 10, 2023, prohibiting its soldiers from taking photos in military uniform and disseminating them on social networks.

This decision, emanating from the Chief of General Staff of the Army, came into force from Saturday November 11, 2023. Brigadier General Balla Koivogui goes beyond this measure by also prohibiting female soldiers from to wear their military uniform when creating videos on the social network TikTok and other communication channels.
