Social electricity tariff: When do applications expire?

The COT is lower by 4.5-7.5 cents per kilowatt-hour (depending on the category of the beneficiary) compared to the normal tariff of the respective provider, i.e. it ensures a significant discount for those who are entitled to it.

The deadline for submitting applications expires one month after the end of the period for submitting tax returns, that is for this year on September 2. The following is useful information on the beneficiaries, the procedures and the conditions for granting the CTO.
