Mananthavadi: Soccer Star Vallioorkav team won the football tournament organized as part of Janmaitri Excise Squad Vimukti Bodhavtkarana Mission. The One Day Lions Football Tournament was organized for the tribal clubs of Mananthavadi Taluk. Soccerstar Valliyoorkau defeated Soccer Boys Kammana by one goal in the final match.

Rajesh of the Soccerstar team was adjudged the best goalkeeper, Krishnadas as the best player, Sanesh of Kammana’s Soccer Boys as the best stopper and Anish as the top scorer. O.R. Kelu MLA The competition was inaugurated. Councilor K.C. Sunil Kumar presided. Excise Deputy Commissioner K.S. Shaji gave an anti-drug message. Former President of Mananthavadi Gram Panchayat E.M. Sreedharan, P.R. Jinosh and got to know the players.
