With the passage of time, aging becomes more and more evident, especially in visible organs such as the skin. Expression lines, wrinkles, dark circles, among other conditions, begin to affect the face. Although it is a normal part of old age, for some people it can be a problem due to the appearance of the face.
For this reason, there are those who resort to commercial products such as tonics, creams, lotions, that help combat these signs of aging. Likewise, there are people who undergo surgical interventions or aesthetic procedures to improve their appearance and look young.
There are also those individuals who prefer to prepare their treatments at home. They use different ingredients to make home remedies. Although they are very popular, great caution should be exercised as they can have different effects on each person. It is advisable to consult a dermatologist before applying this type of remedy and any product on the face.
In its Wellness section, the web portal Panorama highlights the benefits of two plants for skin health.”Rosemary and bay leaf have nutrients that take care of the skin over the years: both cooking ingredients delay the appearance of expression lines and eliminate facial wrinklesbecoming excellent anti-aging home remedies”.
It also points out the steps to take advantage of these benefits:
- Add the rosemary and bay leaf to a pot with enough water.
- Let boil for several minutes to obtain an infusion.
- Let cool.
- When showering, bathe the body, especially the face, neck and chest to combat wrinkles in these areas.
- Repeat several times a week to improve the results.
- If allergic reactions are observed, use should be discontinued and a specialist consulted immediately.
