Law No. 31478 allows members of the private pension system (SPP) to carry out the sixth optional and extraordinary withdrawal of up to four Tax Units, as part of a law approved by the government in order to alleviate the economic crisis caused by the pandemic and the international situation.

Members of Prima AFP, AFP Integra, Profuturo and AFP Habitat have until September 10, 2022 to process the optional withdrawal, according to the Association of Private Pension Fund Administrators (AAFP). If you have already submitted your application, so you can follow up on your process.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY AFP WILL BE DEPOSITED?
To know when your AFP will be deposited, you must follow up on your withdrawal request. These are the steps:
- Sign in to https://www.consultaretiroafp.pe/#/bienvenido
- Click on how my application is going.
- Enter your ID number.
- Enter the verification digit of your ID. (It is the one that follows your 8 digits of your document)
- Click on “I am not a Robot”.
- Click on “Consult”.
Next, a summary will appear with your data, application number and which AFP you belong to. In a message they will tell you if the request was successfully submitted and they add that in the following days they will give you information on the status of the process. In the case of the AFP Habitat, the AFP Association link shows another link.
If your request was approved, the first deposit will be made within 30 calendar days. Your AFP will send you an email confirming the transfer to your account and will also send you text messages to the cell phone number you provided.
HOW WILL THE DISBURSEMENT OF THE SIXTH WITHDRAWAL OF THE AFP FUNDS BE MADE?
The disbursement of funds in three parts.
- First part: an UIT (S/ 4,600) 30 days following the request is submitted.
- Second part: an UIT (S/ 4,600) 30 days following delivery of the first amount.
- Third part: two UIT (S/ 9,200) 30 days following the second delivery.

You can check what AFP you belong from the platform of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFPs (SBS)via It’s Link.
You only have to enter your DNI number and you will be able to see which Pension Fund Administrators you are in and also check which fund you are in.
