The National Union of Press Workers (SNTP) denounced this Sunday the arrest of journalist Carmela Longo.

Through a series of posts on its account on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, the SNTP denounced the arrest. According to the post, Longo was taken from her home, along with her son, by PNB officers.
The incident reportedly occurred around 4 p.m., and the journalist’s home was raided by officers of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).Two hours ago, officers of the Bolivarian National Police raided and took away the journalist and volunteer delegate of the SNTP“, the letter reads.
