snow, wind, slippery conditions… the country on alert this Tuesday!

The Royal Meteorological Institute issued a yellow alert on Tuesday for slippery conditions over much of Belgium. The provinces of Namur, Liège and Luxembourg will be the most affected.

The winter precipitation expected this followingnoon south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow and this night in all countries, except near the sea, might make the roads slippery by snowfall or patches of ice. A yellow alert for slippery conditions was therefore issued between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday for the regions of Namur, Liège and Luxembourg.

The other provinces of the country are only concerned between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, with the exception of West Flanders and the Coast which should be spared.
