Snow Man Koji Mukai attends Burberry show – Close look at his first fashion show participation

Snow Man’s Koji Mukai attended the Burberry 2025 Summer Collection show held in London, England. This was Mukai’s first time in London, and also his first time participating in a fashion show, so we caught up with him about his stay in London. Mukai, who loves cameras, said, “Ever since I arrived in London, I kept pointing my lens at the streets where people were coming and going and firing the shutter.”He added, “There are so many historic buildings here that no matter where I took a photo, I could see pictures.” “I felt like I was in the world of a movie,” he said of his impressions of visiting London.

Burberry, a brand representing Britain, is a brand that has supported British culture and history. The trench coat worn in this photoshoot has an attractive new design by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee. The loose arm circumference and drop shoulders give it a relaxed yet elegant and modern look. Mukai, who has admired the Burberry trench coats that his parents wore since he was a child and wears Burberry even in his private time, says, “Since Daniel Lee became chief creative officer, the new color palette has changed my coordination. I especially like it because it’s fun to do it.”

This time, Burberry’s show was held at the Royal National Theater, located along the River Thames. Lilac-colored carpets were spread throughout the building, which is representative of brutalist architecture, and an art installation by British artist Gary Hume was installed. Mukai, who arrived at the venue wearing a pinstriped set, accepted a photo call and then interacted with guests such as Thai actor Bright, Lila Grace Moss, and Iris Law. I waited for the show to start.

The show started with men’s looks in light colors. The use of materials and motifs reminiscent of the outdoors, such as coatings and functional, tough materials, are interspersed with loose silhouettes that create an easy elegance. What caught Mukai’s attention were the colors such as orange and light blue that emerged from the layering of delicate colors. When asked about her favorite look, she answered, “Personally, I like to wear plaid set-ups in muted colors.”

After the show ended, Mukai rushed backstage and had a conversation with Daniel Lee. Mukai, who couldn’t hide his excitement at his first fashion show, said, “I was able to enjoy not just the clothes, but the entire space created by the brand, which is the real thrill of the show.”This time, Daniel chose Gary Hume’s artwork. I think I found out why by actually experiencing it. It was a very exciting show. I want to continue to love Burberry.”
