SNCF: traffic gradually resumes between Montpellier and Nîmes, after a signaling failure

Train traffic is gradually resuming between Nîmes and Montpellier, while traffic was interrupted from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The breakdown at Montpellier has been resolved.

The line between Montpellier and Nîmes had been interrupted since 11 a.m. this morning, in both directions. Around 11:30 a.m., traffic resumed. The trains were stopped because of a signaling failure near Montpellier. After the intervention of the agents, the problem was finally solved following a little more than half an hour of work.

Traffic is gradually picking up in both directions. However, the SNCF warns that delays of 30 to 50 minutes are to be expected.
