This weekend will be marked by a SNCF strike, Thursday November 30 and Friday December 1. Employees in the railway sector intend to denounce problems linked to lack of staff, refusal of leave, non-recognition of the work carried out.
In Île-de-France, this social movement will impact traffic on public transport. THE RER C will be particularly affected since only one train in three will run on Thursday. Traffic will remain disrupted throughout the day on Friday.
The RER D will also be affected, but only on Friday. A risk of significant disruption is expected, with the closure of the axis linking Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes. As for the RER E, “traffic will be very slightly disrupted between Haussmann and Chelles”, announced the SNCF on
The metro not affected
On the Transilien side, the most significant disruptions are expected on lines L, J and N, with only one train in two on Thursday and high waits during off-peak hours. A return to normal on line J is expected for Friday. However, it will be the turn of line H to be disrupted on December 1st.
Traffic should be maintained normally during the two days of strike on RER A and B, as well as on Transilien K, P, R.
Not being under the management of the SNCF but under that of the RATP, the metros are not affected by these disruptions.
