Qualcomm achieved good results with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, its new platform for high-end mobile phones that increases Android’s competitive power against Apple’s iOS. In a post on Twitter this Thursday (09), the informant shared the alleged specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a new configuration of cores that combines a Cortex-X4 at 3.2 GHz, 5 cores Cortex-A720 at 3.0 GHz and 2 Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0 GHz, such as have not yet been officially presented by ARM.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 would be manufactured using TSMC’s N4P (4 nanometer) process, ensuring the same advantageous efficiency as its predecessor.
