Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 can surpass 1 million points in AnTuTu and touch 8 Plus Gen 1

Qualcomm may be preparing to launch the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1, a new platform for premium mid-range phones that would serve as a upgrade of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. This Monday (13), a screenshot revealed by leaker Abhishek Yadav shows the results of a benchmark test of the alleged chip.

The image seems to show an unknown realme cell phone with the “SM7475” platform, a possible codename used by Qualcomm for the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1. hardware reaches 1,029,731 points on AnTuTusuggesting that its performance won’t be too far off the mighty Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.

It should be remembered that the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, a platform for top-of-the-line phones introduced last year, reaches around 1,054,035 points on a Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. This means that the new hardware for advanced mid-range smartphones would be able to deliver performance of level flagship for lower prices.

The Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 would use the 4 nanometer process, as well as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The core architecture is not yet revealed, so it is not certain that Qualcomm will update its specifications with the new cores of the ARM architecture, such as the Cortex-A715.
