After the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 has been officially released for quite some time. But it is still used in only a few smartphones. Latest information regarding Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 (or possibly Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1) has come out successfully. It uses the model number SM7475.
Roland Quandt revealed that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 will have one main core, three secondary cores and four energy-efficient cores. The main core has a speed of 2.4GHz, while the secondary core has the same speed. The power-efficient core is clocked at 1.8GHz, which is regarding the same speed as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with core speeds of 2.4GHz, 2.36GHz and 1.8GHz.
As for the hardware components, no information has been released yet. But expect to use the main core and the secondary core is Cortex-A715, and the smallest core will be an improved A510.
For the launch of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip, it is expected to be launched separately from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that will be launched in November. But still waiting for more precise information.
