Snapchat is already shelving its Pixy drone

Snap Inc. stops the costs, only a few months following having started marketing its drone.

Marketed only a few months ago, Snapchat’s “Pixy” drone is already returning to the fold, apparently a victim of a certain lack of interest from the general public.

Sold for €249.99 on the manufacturer’s website, the drone allowed you to film and photograph yourself remotely. Like the Spectacles glasses, Pixy would have met with mixed success. According to the Wall Street Journal, Snap Inc. would have decided to stop production and development for these reasons. The company would intend to sell off its stocks but not pursue its efforts to develop other products of this type. Spectacles eyewear would then once once more become the only product Snap Inc.’s hardware division would focus on.

If Snap Inc. has lost money with the products marketed so far, the company has made a nice move with its paid offer, which has managed to attract more than a million subscribers across the planet. since its launch.
