SNAP maximum benefits announced in 38 states 2024-07-14 05:19:49

There are 38 states benefiting from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which is the largest U.S. plan to combat hunger and poverty.

Food stamps are sent to millions of beneficiaries across the country every month. Of course, to receive this financial aid you must qualify, according to the eligibility criteria established in each state. Precisely, during this week, payments corresponding to the month of July are being made.

The proceeds amount to $1,751 USD this time and go directly to the EBT cards. This form of payment works like a debit card. It can be used at any supermarket or convenience store that accepts it to purchase eligible food items.

To qualify for this financial aid, you must have a household income at or below 100% of the federal poverty level. Monthly payments depend on the number of members in a family. For example, those in a one-person household will receive $291.00 USD. For eight-person households, SNAP income increases to $1,751 USD.
