SNAP benefits of up to $1,751 will be distributed over the next few days

SNAP beneficiaries will receive their August payments in the coming days. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance is available in four states across the country with a deposit of $1,751 USD.

As reported, payment dates vary by state and the beneficiary’s Social Security number or case number. However, what is certain is that all payments will be made by August 20.

For example, in New York City, SNAP benefits are distributed during the first 13 days of each month, excluding Sundays and holidays, and the specific dates depend on the last digit of the beneficiary’s case number.

In the current month of August, payments began on the 1st for those with a final digit of 0 and continued on the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 12th of August. In the latter case, they corresponded to the final digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, respectively.

This Monday, August 12, payments were sent to beneficiaries whose case number ends in 7, and in the coming days, deposits for digits 8 and 9 will be completed on August 13 and 14, in that order.

In Tennessee, the payment schedule is based on the last two digits of the head of household’s Social Security number. Payments began Aug. 12 for numbers ending in 55-59, and continue through Aug. 19.

In Ohio, payments are distributed using the last digit of the beneficiary’s case number. Finally, in Washington, beneficiaries are advised to check with their local offices for specific payment dates.
