Two men were found hiding in a car by officers during a vehicle inspection on the bridge connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Jeddah: Passport officers controlling the main bridge connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain discovered two people trying to smuggle them inside a car during the inspection and caught the expatriates. The driver of the vehicle who had conspired to flee has also been arrested.
According to the Saudi General Directorate of Passports, officials said the arrest was an attempt to illegally smuggle people into Saudi Arabia through the King Fahd Causeway.
A statement issued by the Directorate of Passports said that legal action has been taken once morest them and the case has been handed over to the concerned department for further action in this regard. The authorities have not disclosed the details of the nationality of the foreigners.
