New Delhi: Congress has accused Smriti Irani’s daughter of having an illegal bar in Goa. The Congress leadership also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be ready to sack the Union Minister. However, Smriti Irani denied the allegation.
Smriti Irani’s daughter Kirat Nagra’s lawyer stated that she is not running a restaurant in Goa under the name Silly Souls and she has not received any notice from any authority. Her lawyer said that Smriti Irani is making false allegations once morest her daughter on social media to defame her.
The Congress had shared the show-cause notice issued to Smriti Irani’s daughter’s bar. The Congress issued the excise notice. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said that it is a serious matter that Smriti Irani and her family are running a restaurant in Goa without a license. The Congress also alleged that Smriti Irani’s daughter’s bar license is in the name of a person who died 13 months ago.
Meanwhile, Smriti Irani reacted emotionally to the controversies. The Congress is targeting him because he reacted once morest the Gandhi family. Two middle-aged Congress leaders are behind the allegations once morest his 18-year-old daughter. The only crime she committed was that her mother spoke once morest Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
