The Brussels firefighters are currently intervening for a release of smoke that occurred under a metro train in the Gare du Midi station.
The incident is linked to a technical problem, warns the STIB. “As a precaution, the STIB has evacuated several stations until the smoke clears.”
Traffic is interrupted between Arts-Lois and Osseghem, as announced by Stib on its Twitter account.
Nothing to do, therefore, with the threat of an attack announced this morning in the media.
