The National Meteorological Service (SMN) warned the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), the province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Santa Fe and Córdoba for the presence of fog and low visibility during the day of Thursday, June 22 until 11:59 p.m. For this reason, the organization published a series of recommendations to be taken into account for the phenomena that will hinder the development of social life.
Despite the fact that the warning issued is valid until the end of the day, the institution expressed the possibility that “the phenomena may be territorially widespread and/or persistent for several days.” In addition to the haze, the forecast for the indicated regions advanced that the sky will remain covered by clouds.
The recommendations that the SMN provided through its website emphasized avoiding driving in areas where road visibility is compromised. However, the team of meteorologists considered that, in the event that they have to drive in these conditions, drivers should maintain a relevant distance from the rest of the cars, not exceed them, reduce the normal speed at which they usually drive, carry low beams and fog lights on, do not stop on shoulders or roads and, if possible, park in a safe place.
While the communes of CABA and the Buenos Aires suburbs will suffer equally from low visibility, the towns belonging to the territory of the province of Buenos Aires that were alerted are: Campana, Exaltación de la Cruz, San Antonio de Areco, Zárate, Baradero, Ramallo , San Nicolás, San Pedro, Arrecifes, Captain Sarmiento, Carmen de Areco, Chacabuco, Colón, General Arenales, General Pinto, Junín, Leandro N. Alem, Lincoln, Parchment, Rojas, Salto, Alberti, Bragado, Chivilcoy, General Viamonte, July 9th, May 25th, General Las Heras, General Rodríguez, Luján, Marcos Paz, Mercedes, San Andrés de Giles, Suipacha, General Alvear, General Belgrano, General Paz, Las Flores, Lobos, Monte, Navarro, Roque Pérez, Saladillo, Azul, Rauch, Tapalqué, the lower area of Benito Juárez, Tandil, Castelli, Chascomús, Dolores, General Lavalle, Lezama, Magdalena, Punta Indio, Tordillo, Pila, Lobería, Necochea, Ayacucho, Balcarce, General Guido, Maipú, General Juan Madariaga, Mar Chiquita, General Pueyrredón and General Alvarado.

In addition, it is expected that in the Federal Capital the minimum temperature will be 9 degrees and the maximum of 16. On the other hand, in Greater Buenos Aires it will oscillate between 6 and 16 degrees in the north, west and south; and in the rest of the province the maximum will be maintained, while the thermometer will drop to 4°C, even to 1°C in the mountainous area of Tandil and surroundings.
Regarding Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, the meteorological phenomenon will completely affect both provinces. The weather forecast for the day in Santa Fe will be a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 19°C in the capital area, thermal levels that will be replicated in the rest of the territory, with the difference that the minimum will rise to 8 degrees. in the northern towns. In the coastal districts, the values will start from 6°C until touching 17°C. For the Entre Ríos region, in Paraná a minimum of 6°C and a maximum of 19°C are expected.
The municipalities in the eastern region of Córdoba that should be careful due to the lack of visibility will be San Justo, General San Martín, Marcos Juárez and Unión, places where the thermometer will start from 3 degrees and will touch 18°C.
Finally, the territory of the province of Corrientes that will be affected by the fog and low visibility will be the south, center, east and west, so the capital and the north that borders Paraguay will have a quiet day. Likewise, temperatures will remain stable in the affected areas, since the indices will oscillate between 11°C and 19°C.
