The smartphone was appointed as the preferred platform for games by more than 50% of Brazilians interviewed by Pesquisa Game Brasil (PGB), an annual survey that consolidates information on the consumption of electronic games in the country.
According to the survey data, 51.7% of respondents said they prefer to play on mobile phones, once morest 20.5% who chose consoles and 19.4% who have more fun on PCs. platforms.
Compared to last year, smartphone preference increased by 7.03%. In 2022, playing on mobile was the primary choice of 48.3%. However, the peak for this type of device was seen in 2020, when they accounted for 52%.
It is also noteworthy that smartphones have led the ranking since 2015, showing that Brazilians prefer to use cell phones to have fun. The platform was also responsible for the democratization of digital games.
